[Touya wishes he could say he had been drafted and was recovering from his wounds--then at least he could tell people where he's been for the past two weeks. As it stands, he really doesn't remember much of anything aside from bright lights and the occasional person coming to feed him. Where he was, who he was with, and what happened: all of these things are blanks.]

[He stumbles out of the forest in the early afternoon, dressed in the clothes given to New Feathers, but he looks like he's been beaten up. His trek out of the forest was something out of legends. He must have run into every low branch, spiny plant, and mean squirrel possible. Though that really doesn't concern him right now.]

[Once he's out, he makes a break for his house, hobbling along but looking extremely driven. He opens the door far more forcefully than usual and calls for both Yuki and Yue. ...and no one answers.]

[He tears through the house, and when he finds that empty he tears through his journal. Nothing.]

Yeah, no-- I mean, yeah I'm okay, I just need to find him.

[But if Yuki's been gone a week and Touya just got back... chances are he's not there for Touya to find. His shoulders slump a little.]

But I guess he hasn't come back yet, if he's not here and not at work, huh?

[There's a tiny hint of sympathy in Sanji's stare. He just shakes his head]

...yeah, I didn't think so.

[Touya looks at the wall, almost unsure of what to do now. Yuki and Yue could need his help and he doesn't know where they are or where to start.]

I just have to wait for him to come home, then.

Sounds like a good idea. [Really, it's all Touya can do]

Don't worry about your shifts. It's closed as of now.

Closed? Why are we closed? [This gives him an opportunity to talk about something else, calm down a little...]

[Admitting why they're closed means admitting he's been having a hard time - not usually his preferred method of distraction. He hedges a little]

With you and Yukito gone, I thought a break was in order.

We'll be open again for when the New Feathers get here, though.

Ah. [He can read between the lines.]

If you can give me a day to recover, I can be back the day after.

It's not necessary. [Though he appreciates the offer]

For now, I still think a break will do the place good. I gotta straighten shit up anyway.

[He pauses before answering--which is strange for him. Usually he'd never hesitate to offer his help, but Touya is definitely distracted by Yuki and Yue's absence. He's thinking about what he'll do all by himself in this empty house. Work, obviously.]
