[010] [action/audio] covering a shift

[This isn't the first time Touya's woken up to an empty side of the bed, but it is the first time he's gone to bed alone. In a house with only him in it.]

[He comes out of the bedroom and casts cursory glances around the living room and kitchen. No sign of either of them. Twenty minutes with a bowl of cereal and his journal tell him there's no word on the network either. His shoulders come down, and he stares at the journal and his empty bowl. After a minute, he reaches over and starts a recording.]

After being kidnapped, where in Luceti have people been returned to? If I was looking for someone who had come back, where would I look?

That's true. I don't know if he has his journal, though. He could be wandering around for hours, and nobody would know. Which isn't anybody's fault, but...

[But Touya's just thinking about every worst-case scenario he can. What would Yue do with his wings if he was dropped into the lake? Or what if they were paralyzed and laying in a ditch like Kohaku was?]

Well most of the time when people are returned their journals are somewhere near them...

But if you're worried, I'm sure some villagers wouldn't mind helping you search for a bit.

That happens...? [The only time Touya was returned from kidnapping, he had to go home to get to his journal. Maybe because he was taken without it. Had Yuki been carrying his journal?]

Everybody loses people, though. I'd like it if everyone kept an eye out, but I wouldn't want to inconvenience anybody.

Or if I could sense presences or something like that. Guess that wouldn't be a guarantee, though, if the Malnosso did something to affect that.
