[010] [action/audio] covering a shift

[This isn't the first time Touya's woken up to an empty side of the bed, but it is the first time he's gone to bed alone. In a house with only him in it.]

[He comes out of the bedroom and casts cursory glances around the living room and kitchen. No sign of either of them. Twenty minutes with a bowl of cereal and his journal tell him there's no word on the network either. His shoulders come down, and he stares at the journal and his empty bowl. After a minute, he reaches over and starts a recording.]

After being kidnapped, where in Luceti have people been returned to? If I was looking for someone who had come back, where would I look?

[Long pause.] Yeah. I think I'm kind of screwed. No way I could find them right off the bat.

They often get dumped with their journal nearby, so unfortunately your best bet is waiting like that.

Hn. Do the best for what might help them when they get back? Somethings they're hurt or the Malnosso did something to them. Best you can do is deal with that.

Is there anything they'd want you to do while they're gone, or that would cheer them up when you get back?

One of them wouldn't want me to worry, and I think the other would tell me I was worrying unnecessarily. But I guess they'd both like a clean house and a meal that was ready to eat.

You're right, though. I should be focusing on what happens when they get back. I just can't stop thinking about what could be happening now.
