[012] [action/video] forgot to set the alarm
[Action]
[Interestingly enough, Sunday morning doesn't look nearly as exciting as it had on Saturday night. Touya wakes up with one thought on his mind: wedding.]
[...wedding.]
[Oh holy hell, WEDDING?!]
[Touya bolts upright, his kingly wedding apparel still hung up delicately and ready for the festivities. Ready for him to marry Yue in. Joining a princess and a prince to become rulers of Luceti. How on earth did he ever think this was his life? Touya looks next to him, wondering if Yue is still there or if he has to go tearing through the village looking for him.]
[Once he's caught up with Yue, Touya takes a moment for probably a needless announcement, but nonetheless...]
In case anyone is confused, Yue and I are not getting married today.
...and I'm not the king of Luceti.
[Touya looks awkwardly at the camera for another beat and then shuts it off after looking appropriately kerfluffled.]

...but I rode around town on a horse. [More facehands.]
[Voice]
Well I guess it doesn't matter. Everybody probably did stuff they wish they didn't this week. Nobody will hold it against you, promise.
[Voice]
[He snorts slightly.] I'm sure no one will hold it against me, but what about Yue?
[Voice]
I don't think I've met Yue, but I don't see why anybody would hold it against anyone in the village.
[Voice]
How did it come and go for you? Nearly marry anybody?
[Voice]
Um...well, I spent most of my week being chased by horses and carrying a fake tiara until I ran into this boy I know who tried repeatedly hitting me with books. Totally normal.
[Voice]
Yue's much older than he looks, he could still be holding grudges I don't even know about. Against people I don't even know. [Oi. He hopes Yue doesn't hold a grudge against him. It could be a really long time before he sees Yue again.]
Book assault. Sounds like fun. The horse thing sounds a little dangerous, though.
[Voice]
On the other hand, it helped that he couldn't actually see me. The horse thing wasn't so much dangerous as it was exhausting. It really only got dangerous when one of the horses had a sword.

[Nel can't possibly restrain her amused smile, and she doesn't really try.]

That said, it's probably for the best it didn't happen. That would have been much more difficult to explain.

[Agh, they were too young. They had plenty of time for that sort of thing later.]
It at least saved us the awkward discussion over how we felt about it. How was your week, Neliel-san?
no subject
Not that bad, really.

By the way, I noticed you said "today".

[He prances into the kitchen with his little coin-scarf on his head.]
Darling. [He swishes his cape--the cape and the scarf are the only things he's bothered to put on though. Under the cape he still has his pajamas on.] What on earth do you think you're doing? I should call the servants to make us our rice and coffee.
no subject
That good of an experiment, was it?
no subject
It would've been better if everything in this past week hadn't happened as a result of the experiment. [He drags the scarf off his head and hangs it on the back of the chair with the cape.] It was all pretty magical.
...though maybe if we ever were married, I wouldn't ride around on a horse inviting anybody I saw.

[Yukito slides the omelette he was cooking from the pan onto a plate and smiles at Touya, his expression sympathetic despite the teasing tone.]
Was there something in particular that was so magical?
no subject
I don't know. I don't really want to be a king... But I felt like I'd actually done something to make Yue happy. And he even smiled. [He cuts another piece of omelet and stares at it for a minute.] It wasn't perfect, though. I didn't realize it until now, but I missed seeing you.

[There's certainly laughter in his eyes as he teases his other self, but at the same time he isn't terribly happy at the way Yue decided to hide and leave him to deal with the aftermath of the experiment. Perhaps prodding him enough will make him talk.]
Still, I am glad it's over. Though it only seems fair that in the next experiment we share the time.
