[Touya's life guys. Touya's life.]

[It began simply enough: Yuki had come home, lugging a work costume Touya hoped he would never see again. 'Why don't you try it on?']

[The answer was also simple: 'Hell no.' The costume was hot, and the head was huge, and Touya didn't ever want to wear it again. It had been bad enough the one time. And then there was a bet made, and Touya thought he would never, ever lose.]

['You both conspired against me, I know it.' And Yuki had just smiled and held up the mascot head.]

[It's a special Thursday, Luceti. Because this is how Touya is dressed while he hands out balloons in the main square until sundown. After which he will be running home and vowing never, ever, to make a bet with his boyfriends ever again.]

Like this? [Carefully letting go of the balloon, trying to grab the string as it floats past--oh oops it's. floating away.]

... [Touya watches the balloon float away, a flat look on his face. Welp. He only had like, five dozen more.]

[He pulls the bunny head off and sets it down along with the tethered bunch of balloons. He frees his hands and picks out a green balloon.]

Okay here, you can tie it loosely to your wrist too, and it won't float away.

[Florian is distinctly, noticeably surprised at the removal of Mister Bunny's head. Not a bad surprised, but. Surprised nonetheless.]

...You're really smart! [when it comes to balloons.]

[complexing]

[Touya looks at the kid, a little surprised to find he looks completely sincere. He chuckles quietly.] I've just been around balloons a lot. [He finishes tying the balloon loosely to the kid's wrist and puts his arms back in the suit.] There.

Do you give a lot of balloons? Is that your job? [He knows about jobs, they're very important. Florian perks up at the successful securing of his second balloon, though, giving the man in the bunny suit a big smile.] Thank you~

I did for a while. I've done a lot of different jobs though. [He smiles back--the kid really did have a great smile.] You're welcome.

I've never done any jobs before. Is it lots of fun? I think I'd have fun if I got to do this. [He waves his balloon-arm a little.]

[complexing]

Well, depends on the job... [Touya looks at the waving balloon arm. ...what the heck, Touya will give him a couple more.] Some jobs aren't like this. But if you'd have fun handing some out... [He picks out three or four balloons and holds them out.] You can help if you want.

[positivelycharged]

...! [He takes the balloons - correctly this time - and maybe a little reverently, though that probably wasn't necessary.] Okay! I'll find people to give them to, and then I'll make them happy and it'll be great!

[complexing]

[...oh wow that's adorable. Even Touya's stoic nature is cracked a little by how cute this kid is. There isn't much that can do that, but apparently joy over being given balloons to hand out is one of those things.]
