[001] working after hours
[Here's a place you wouldn't expect Touya to be: on a roof.]
[He's looking a little different today, too. Specifically, he has a rather large pair of black wings in addition to his small ones, and his hair is significantly longer (read: it drags). He's surveying the village, looking for anyone who looks as though they may need help, protection, et cetera.]
[And, of course, he's looking for his dearest Yue. Touya can sense him, certainly, but he'll wait to make his presence known after Yue realizes he's there. They shared the same blood, after all--it was only a matter of time before Yue came to see him.]
[But until then, he's content to talk to anyone at all. His strength has rapidly returned since his illness, after all.]
((Touya has been AU'd from a fic where Yue turns him into a guardian. Have fun kids. ♥))

Both. 83
I was wondering where you had gone.

Either way, this is... weird. He automatically draws back as Touya approaches, wings lifting higher with mild agitation.]
...I was out.

Yeah... I see that now. I guess I just missed you, so the minutes seemed to drag on.
[Touya looks awkwardly at the roof. What did he do to upset Yue?]
Are you upset because we didn't have sex last night?
1/2
2/3 i lied
[Give him a minute.]
[...maybe another minute.]

Yue drifts back another couple of feet, utterly baffled shock clear to see on his normally-expressionless face.]
We didn't what?!
no subject
We didn't... make love? [Is that a better way to phrase it? Sometimes he was so blunt... Obviously his love couldn't take being so open about their relationship.]
If you had wanted to, you could have just woken me up. [He smiles and floats closer to Yue. Maybe some midair cuddling will do the trick.] You know I can't say no to you, love.
no subject
Who are you and where is Touya.
no subject
I am Touya... [He floats backward, as an act of good faith.] You can sense me the same way I can sense you, can't you? You know it's me, so why...? [He trails off, honestly lost.]
I'm the same Touya you saved, aren't I?
no subject
Yue tries to focus, but his senses are still telling him the same thing: Touya's magic is back, and more than back. And... weirdly similar to his own. Which doesn't make any sense at all.
For the moment he stays exactly where he is, confused, uncertain, and wary. And uninterested in getting too close to someone so oddly familiar who wants to talk about things that aren't.]
...saved?
no subject
I was dying. From... some disease, I can't remember what it was but. You gave me my power back and turned me into a guardian to save my life.
[The whole experience was intense, to put it lightly. There was no way Yue could have forgotten, maybe it just hadn't happened to him yet.]

[The response is quick, flat, and absolutely certain. It wasn't possible, not in the slightest: he was a guardian, created to protect his master. That was all. He couldn't... somehow create a guardian like himself, much less turn a human into anything else. Sakura could perhaps create her own guardians eventually, once her own powers matured, but he? Never.
But then why was Touya like... the way he was? It had to be one of the experiments he'd been warned of. If this was the Malnosso idea of fun, twisting someone to become what they could not, implanting impossible memories, then he'd certainly be willing to join the ranks of those who hated them.]
no subject
[He spreads his wings slightly to demonstrate. How could he have wings and powers if he wasn't a guardian now?] I mean, I'm not as good with the bow as you are yet, but I can at least fly without falling now...?
[Touya's hoping that some small memory or recollection will jumpstart Yue's mind. 'Not possible'? How could it be impossible when Yue had done it just a few days ago? Touya was there, he nearly died from it.]
We're bonded together. [His voice is quiet now, as though he's trying to reassure himself.] You gave me your blood, I'm a part of you...

That's more than enough.]
I'm going back inside now.
[And fitting action to words, Yue folds his wings and turns his hover into a controlled dive for the ground by the front door. He has no intention of discussing this any further.]
no subject
[He watches Yue descend to the door, realizing that for whatever reason, Yue just doesn't want to see him right now. Touya doesn't understand, though. Why? What did he do to make Yue so angry and so indifferent to him?]
[He's obviously met someone else here, hasn't he? Someone who had their powers from the get-go, and now he doesn't want to be with Touya anymore. He's just a burden now: something that Yue has to teach and be tied to. But they had loved each other! They had given everything to each other and now Yue was just pushing him aside? How could he? How could he?]
You could have just said you didn't want me anymore. You didn't have to make me feel like a monster too. [He uncurls his wings and takes off for the forest. Guess he's not going inside too.]
no subject
because he wouldn't have any idea how to react to it anywayand simply concentrates for a moment to dismiss his wings before entering the house. Touya will be back whenever he gets cold or hungry enough for it (if he still gets hungry, now that someone apparently tried to turn him into a pseudo-clone of Yue himself) and he isn't terribly concerned.Yue is more worried about what's been done to Touya, and how to get him to go back to normal. This is... entirely too awkward to deal with. And deep down, where he'll barely admit it to himself, he misses the real Touya.]
