[Here's a place you wouldn't expect Touya to be: on a roof.]

[He's looking a little different today, too. Specifically, he has a rather large pair of black wings in addition to his small ones, and his hair is significantly longer (read: it drags). He's surveying the village, looking for anyone who looks as though they may need help, protection, et cetera.]

[And, of course, he's looking for his dearest Yue. Touya can sense him, certainly, but he'll wait to make his presence known after Yue realizes he's there. They shared the same blood, after all--it was only a matter of time before Yue came to see him.]

[But until then, he's content to talk to anyone at all. His strength has rapidly returned since his illness, after all.]

[He chances a glance behind, just to see if he's still being followed, but there's no sound of footsteps. However, when the flying man drops outo f the air right in front of him, he's stuck with his back to the tree.]

Hey, hey, calm down! [Touya holds up his hands in a somewhat defensive position--even though he knows this kid isn't a threat to him.]

I don't think you stole anything, I'm just worried about you running around by yourself when it's so cold out... [He frowns with the utmost sympathy and holds out the book he picked up while chasing the child.] And in the forest no less. It's dangerous in here.

[Worried. About him. Gin's expression says anything but belief. He snatches the book and holds it tightly to his chest.]

[Touya smiles a little when he takes the book so forcefully, though he has to wonder if something happened to this kid to make him run into the forest thinking he would be just as safe here than he would be in an apartment or house.]

[Gin looks at him a moment, considering. Everyone here is so different from the people in Rukongai. Back home, no one would have to ask something like that. It was obvious enough.]

People 're more dangerous than a lotta stuff out in the forest. 'Least out there I know what t' expect.
