[005] double overtime [audio]
This weather is making it impossible to plan anything. I don't know if it'll be snowing, hailing, or if a tornado is going to blow through today.
What's everyone planning on for their girlfriends or boyfriends? Is everybody just staying in...?

[audio]
What were you planning to do? You're not going somewhere, are you?
[...and color him slightly oblivious. He just wants to make sure Touya will be there when he's finished, so he can deliver the chocolate properly.]
[audio]
No, of course I'm not going anywhere. I was just trying to do something special, but I can't think of anything.
[audio]
Something special for the holiday? You certainly don't have to...

[audio]
I know.
I'll be home in a few minutes, okay? We can talk when I get there.
[audio/action]
[Except so not okay. He's not ready at all--he has no food, no chocolate, and his gift isn't even wrapped yet. He'll have to settle on putting the roses he picked up into a vase. That's probably about as much time as he has before Yuki gets home.]
[action]
As soon as the house is in sight he can't help the sudden grin that appears, and he all but bounces cheerfully through the door.]
Touya?
[action]
I'm here! Be right there! [He shoves it all under his bed and runs out to the living room. When was the last time he was so excited for Yuki to come home?]
Welcome home. [Touya smiles... and doesn't waste any time. He pulls Yuki into a kiss before the other can even take his jacket off.]
[action]
[action]
Let me get that for you.
[action]
Oh! It's for you, actually. I mean, it isn't much, but I... I was glad to have someone to give some to this year.
[And inside the festive-looking red box is an assortment of hand-made and very carefully decorated chocolates. Yukito has been very busy today.]
[action]
I can't wait to see what's inside. [Clearly he can wait, though, seeing as he's taking his sweet time putting kisses on Yuki's temple, ear and cheek. At this rate Yuki's never going to step away from the doorway.]
[action]
[The words are half a laugh, an attempt to cover for the light shiver at the brush of lips against his skin. Yukito reaches up his now-freed hand to rest against Touya's cheek, with gentle pressure encouraging him to stay still as Yukito reaches up to steal a kiss of his own, though this one is almost teasingly short, and his voice amused as he adds another comment.]
You have to open the box to see what's inside, you know....
[action]
Guess you're right~ [He grins and moves out of the entryway so he can open the box.] Mm, they look delicious, Yuki. You decorated all of these by hand, right?
[action]
I wanted them to be special... just for you.
[action]
[action]
It's our first Valentine's together, but I hope you can forgive me for being gone during the first part of it.
[action]
But maybe I'll forgive you if you'll stay in with me tonight. I have something planned.
[action]
[Yukito laughs quietly, his fingers tracing the curve of the wing down to where it joins Touya's shoulder. The feathers are softer there, and Yukito carefully traces the outline of one, idly fascinated by the contrast between it and the skin just next to it.
He's half-distracted by Touya's closeness as well, acutely aware of his warmth, his scent, the feel of his chest rising and falling with each breath; somehow it seems even more real than usual, dizzyingly, breathtakingly so. It takes him a second to find the thread of the conversation again, but he covers the lapse with another laugh, voice taking on a teasing air.]
Well, I suppose I could. I admit I'm curious about this mysterious plan of yours.
[action]
Well you know, if you leave the house, I'll just have to follow you to your other boyfriend's place. Whisk you away in front of him. Maybe in a bunny costume.
[action]
[His tone is so absolutely innocent that it should be warning enough, and a moment later his hand shifts down toward the ticklish spot at Touya's side.]
On second thought, though, it sounds like too much work. I'll just stay here.
[action]
Tickling without warning is dangerous, you know. And it also invokes retaliation. [He smirks over his shoulder as he walks to set the chocolates down on the table, next to the roses. Then he turns around.] But for now--I thought since it was cold I would make us some soup. Mushrooms okay?
