[001] working after hours
[Here's a place you wouldn't expect Touya to be: on a roof.]
[He's looking a little different today, too. Specifically, he has a rather large pair of black wings in addition to his small ones, and his hair is significantly longer (read: it drags). He's surveying the village, looking for anyone who looks as though they may need help, protection, et cetera.]
[And, of course, he's looking for his dearest Yue. Touya can sense him, certainly, but he'll wait to make his presence known after Yue realizes he's there. They shared the same blood, after all--it was only a matter of time before Yue came to see him.]
[But until then, he's content to talk to anyone at all. His strength has rapidly returned since his illness, after all.]
((Touya has been AU'd from a fic where Yue turns him into a guardian. Have fun kids. ♥))

serey, what is this I don't even-
Is this guy supposed to be death? A demon? Some kind of really weird Hollow? Gin isn't sure, but he's fairly certain he doesn't want to cross its path. He's currently trying to creep past it and back toward the woods without being noticed.]
This, Mika, is a nine car accident. Keep watching, you know you want to.
[Touya's brow creases in concern. A child shouldn't be walking around by himself in the snow, especially not into the forest. There were things in forests that
led people off cliffswere dangerous for kids.][Without pausing, Touya spreads his wings and jumps off of the roof. He glides straight for the child, hoping he can get to him before he has to chase the kid through the trees.]
Can't... loook.... away......... it burnsssssss
Gin is off like a shot. He doesn't know shunpo yet or you wouldn't even blink before he's gone, but he sure moves fast for a scrawny little thing.
If he can just make it to the edge of the forest, he's sure he can lose him in the trees. Those wings aren't made for tight spaces, thank goodness. He glances over his shoulder just long enough to see the man giving chase and with effort, Gin manages to fling his book over his shoulder, hoping for a distraction at the least, a good solid hit at best.]

[The child is moving away rather quickly, despite being a little kid. The book catches him on the side of head, but it didn't hurt him so much as make him stop to pick up the book.]
I'm not going to hurt you, and you dropped something!
[Threw it, really.]

Luckily though, the book seems to have caught the guy, slowing him a bit. Gin's a ways off, stopping behind a tree to catch his breath.]

[He tracks the footprints to behind a tree, and decides that the best way to catch the boy is to sneak up on him. He floats up through the tops of the trees and floats over to the tree the boy's hiding behind--and drops down in front of them.]
Hey there, you're pretty fast.

Whadda ya followin' me for?! I didn't steal nothin'! They said I could 'ave these shoes!
no subject
I don't think you stole anything, I'm just worried about you running around by yourself when it's so cold out... [He frowns with the utmost sympathy and holds out the book he picked up while chasing the child.] And in the forest no less. It's dangerous in here.

Ain't any more dangerous n' the town.
no subject
Why do you say that?

People 're more dangerous than a lotta stuff out in the forest. 'Least out there I know what t' expect.
